First, I’ll come and see your home, listen to what’s frustrating you and find out what you’d love to change.
I start by looking at what you've already got, what works and what doesn't.
I look at the layout, furniture, colours and finishing touches, and work out what will make the biggest difference.
Some things we'll keep. Some we'll move. Others might need replacing.
I'll also look at how you use your home and where practical changes could make everyday life easier.
No unnecessary spending or changes for the sake of it. Just good decisions that make a real difference.

THE STYLING EDIT
Make the most of what you’ve already got.
Your room has good bones, but something isn't quite right. I'll come in, rearrange furniture, remove and refine things where necessary, restyle what you own and add a few carefully chosen pieces where needed.
I'll make the most of your space, sort out the finishing touches and introduce simple organisation solutions where they'll help.
A hands-on service where I take care of transforming your space so it looks and feels so much better.
THE ROOM EDIT
A complete rethink of your room.
When a room needs more than a refresh, I'll take it right back to the drawing board.
I'll rethink the layout, develop a new look, choose colours, furniture, lighting and finishing touches, and source the pieces needed to bring it all together.
I'll also tackle the practical side, including storage and organisation, so the finished room works just as well as it looks.
From the initial ideas to the finished room, I'll take care of the transformation.
THE COMPLETE EDIT
Leave it all to me.
For bigger projects or several rooms that need transforming, I'll create a plan that brings everything together.
From the overall look, layouts, colours, furniture, lighting, storage and finishing touches, I'll work through every practical tiny detail to create a home you'll love.
I can also take care of sourcing, purchasing and coordinating the work, depending on how much you'd like me to handle.

The Expert Edit is a fixed-price consultation. All other prices are starting prices and depend on the work involved. Furniture, materials and any third-party costs are additional. A clear quote will be agreed before work begins.

I'm Deborah Finney, founder of Home Style Edit.
I've always loved interiors. I'm one of those people who walks into a room and immediately see what I’d keep, what I’d change and how I’d make the whole thing better.
I’ve been moving furniture around since I was about 12, with a Diploma in Interior Design I’ve always been that person friends and family get to redesign their homes.
I love beautiful things, but I'm practical too. I've never understood the point of having a gorgeous room that nobody feels comfortable using.
I'm from Yorkshire so I’m quite straightforward. I like making decisions, getting stuck in and seeing things through. I'm not interested in changing things just for the sake of it, or spending money where it isn't needed.
For me, the best part is seeing someone's reaction when they walk into a room and absolutely love what I've done.
And even better when they realise it's going to make their everyday life easier too.
That's what I love doing. And it's why I started Home Style Edit.
